Hastings College football players earn national scholar-athlete recognition

(Hastings, Neb.) – The following Hastings College Bronco Football players were named to the 2011 Daktronics-NAIA Football Scholar-Athletes list:
Kyle Bernstrauch , a junior wide receiver from South Sioux City, Neb.
Steffen Boden, a junior defensive back from Millard, Neb.
Paul Campfield, a junior linebacker from Wray, Colo.
Preston Peterson, a junior offensive lineman from Broken Bow, Neb.
Evan Richter, a senior offensive lineman from Hayes Center, Neb.
Neil Sabata, a junior defensive back from David City, Neb.
The honorees, who were nominated by their coaches, must be juniors and have a minimum 3.5 grade point average based on a 4.0 scale.
Hastings College, founded in 1882, is a private, four-year liberal arts institution affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA). A total of 64 majors in 32 areas of study and 12 pre-professional programs are offered to more than 1,150 students.
