(Hastings, Neb.) –  Driven by the HC Broncos Men’s and Women’s Soccer teams, Hastings College finished the 2011-12 fall season #15 in the Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup for NAIA institutions.  Currently, HC is the only school from Great Plains Athletic Conference to place in the top 20.  Final NAIA standings will be released at the end of the spring sports season.

The Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup awards points for each NAIA college’s or university’s finish in up to 12 men’s and women’s sports.  HC’s current place in the standings is driven by top 10 finishes in both men’s and women’s soccer.  With its 24-2 record and championship game appearance, the HC Broncos Men’s Soccer team finished its 2011 season #2 in the NAIA rankings while the HC Broncos Women’s Soccer team finished 19-3-1 and #9 in the NAIA.
