(Hastings, Neb.) – Tom Van Haute, an offensive lineman for the Hastings College Bronco Football team, was named to the AFCA-NAIA Coaches’ All-America Team. A senior from Omaha, Neb., Van Haute previously played for Daniel J. Gross Catholic (Omaha, Neb.) High School.
“This is a great honor for Tom, his family, and Hastings College,” said Tony Harper, Head Coach for the Hastings College Bronco Football team. “The hard work that Tom displays goes without question, but what made Tom special and so deserving of this honor was his ability to lead this football team and his loyalty to his teammates. He is a great young man who will do great things in the future.”
