HC offers free performance by pre-eminent humorist David Sedaris

(Hastings, Neb.) – On Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 8 p.m., noted humorist and author David Sedaris will perform at Hastings College’s French Memorial Chapel (800 N. Turner Ave.) Although the event will be free, tickets are required.
Best-selling author of essay collections Me Talk Pretty One Day and Naked, Sedaris frequently contributes his edgy wit and cutting cultural insights on Public Radio International’s “This American Life”. Sedaris, who has collaborated with his comedienne sister Amy Sedaris, has been nominated for three Grammy Awards for Best Spoken Word and Best Comedy Album. No topic is off limits for Sedaris.
This performance is made possible by the Hastings College Artist Lecture Series (ALS) National Committee.
Ticket Information
If you are an HC student, faculty member, or staff, or a Crimson Connection member, you may pick up to 2 tickets in person at Perkins Library (705 E. 7th St.) between Monday, Oct. 10 at 9 a.m.-Sunday, Oct. 16 at 4 p.m.
The remaining tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis. Starting on Monday, Oct. 17 at 10 a.m., you may email your ticket request to sedaristickets@hastings.edu. People unable to secure tickets are welcome to join the standby line or watch via video in an overflow room.
