(Hastings, Neb.) – Hastings College Assistant Professor of Religion and Philosophy the Rev. Dr. Carter Aikin will present the ALS Invited Faculty Lecture, “Vocation and the Meaning of Work,” at 10 a.m., Friday, Sept. 23rd in French Memorial Chapel (800 N. Turner Ave).

This event is sponsored by the Hastings College Artist Lecture Series and is free and open to the public.

Dr. Aikin’s lecture will offer a comprehensive definition of the term “vocation” as an invaluable tool for undergraduate education and argue for its flexibility and importance as an educational concept, particularly well-used at Hastings College.
