Hastings College to host 21st AIDS Walk

Hastings College hosts 21st Annual Nebraska AIDS Walk

(Hastings, Neb.) – The Nebraska AIDS Project (NAP) will sponsor the 20th Annual AIDS Walk on Sunday, September 18, 2011, in 6 cities across Nebraska. The Hastings walk will begin at Hazelrigg Student Union at Hastings College. Registration for the walk begins at 1 p.m., and the walk begins at 2 p.m.
Walkers can earn a t-shirt if they raise at least $25 for the cause. Participants will be able to join in the festivities with free drinks, food and an opportunity to win amazing door prizes.

The annual AIDS Walk is an awareness event that raises much-needed funds for comprehensive programs and services provided by NAP for men, women and children living with HIV and AIDS in Nebraska, Southwest Iowa and Eastern Wyoming as well as support for ongoing education and outreach programs.
Hastings College, founded in 1882, is a private, four-year liberal arts institution affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA).
