Hastings College Athletic Director announces new leadership for Bronco Volleyball

Hastings College Athletic Director Ian Roberts has announced that Assistant Volleyball Coaches Lyndi Rouzee and Abbie Welliver will take on the leadership role for Bronco Volleyball as Co-Head Coaches beginning this season. The announcement was made at a media conference held Thursday morning.

Rouzee was a four-year starting setter and two-year team captain for the Broncos, and she led her team to Nationals in 2006. She was Club Coach for two years at the Heartland Volleyball Club and has coached summer volleyball camps at Hastings College for five years.

Welliver was a two-time All American Scholar Athlete when she played for the Broncos. She was the Assistant Volleyball Coach for Grand Island Central Catholic High School and Club Coach for the GI Power15s.

AD Roberts appointed Rouzee and Welliver following the resignation of Head Coach Lori Willadsen last week, who left due to personal obligations to her family.
