Hastings College holds 25th Nebraska Scholars Academy

High-ability middle school students from across the state will attend the 25th Annual Nebraska Scholars Academy (NSA) to be held June 26-July 1 at Hastings College. The one-week residential summer program is designed to provide talented students with challenging and enriching opportunities in math, communications and science.

NSA classes are taught by Hastings College professors and experienced teachers from around the state. Students experience indoor and outdoor classroom activities combined with a variety of social and cultural events.

To be eligible to attend the event, students must be entering eighth or ninth grade in the 2011-2012 academic year, and must have shown ability in communications, math or science. For more information about the Nebraska Scholars Academy, please visit www.hastings.edu/nsa or contact Dr. Constance Malloy at (402) 461-7417.
