Members of the Hastings College Choir and Jazz Band from the mid-seventies and eighties will be returning to campus June 10, 11, and 12 for a reunion and performances.  The Alumni Jazz Band, under the direction of former Hastings College professor of Music, John Mills will perform at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 11th in the Downtown Greenscape Park in Downtown Hastings.  The concert will include Big Band and Classic/Light Jazz music.  In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved to the Masonic Center Theatre.

On Sunday, June 12th, the Jazz Band will be joined by the Alumni Choir, under the direction of former Hastings College professor of Music, Elmer Shock at the 10:30 service of the First Presbyterian Church.  The outdoor service will be held in the Chautauqua Pavilion/Prospect Park at 5th and Laird.  The worship service will include instrumental jazz, brass ensemble, and several choral anthems by the choir.
