Hastings College’s Next President Dennis Trotter Announces Vice President for Enrollment Management
Dennis Trotter, the next President of Hastings College beginning July 1, has announced Maryjo “MJ” Huebner as the Vice President for Enrollment Management at Hastings College, effective July 1, 2011. Her responsibilities will include managing the offices of admission and financial aid.
“MJ will bring outstanding analytic, strategic planning and team-building skills, and an infectious sense of humor to Hastings, along with the work ethic she learned on the Western Iowa farm where she grew up,” Trotter said. “She is excited to bring her passion for education, people and world travel to Hastings College.”
Huebner comes to Hastings College as an Executive Consultant for Noel-Levitz, one of the nation's leading higher education consulting firms, where she assists colleges and universities in realizing their enrollment management goals through the creation of strategic enrollment plans, staff development and training, and implementing best-practice processes to improve and enhance institutional marketing, student recruitment, admission and financial aid initiatives, and student retention.
Over the last nine years, Huebner has been one of Noel Levitz' top consultants and has helped more than 30 colleges and universities implement strategies and programs that have led to enrollment growth and improved net tuition revenue.
Prior to Noel-Levitz, Huebner acquired a wealth of experience in higher education management, having worked in admissions at Cornell College, as director of admission at Coe College, and at Stamats Communications, a national higher education marketing firm. She is an active member of the Cornell College Alumni Board of Directors and volunteers with Indigo Threads, a small non-profit that supports education for rural children in Southern Laos.
