Hastings College to hold 9th annual Bronco Freeze

The Hastings College Student Alumni Ambassadors plan the 9th annual Bronco Freeze at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, March 12 at Lake Hastings. The community is welcome to come out and watch as students take the icy plunge.

Following the chilly dip, students will go over to the YMCA for a pool party and jump board contest. Prizes will be given out for the student who guesses the closest temperature of the lake, for the coolest costume, for the largest group that jumps and much more. This is the 9th year for the fun, yet chilly HC tradition of jumping into Hastings Lake the week before Spring Break.

Katie Armstrong, Eaton, Colo., co-president of Student Alumni Ambassadors, is helping to organize the event. The HC Student Alumni Ambassadors sponsor events encouraging the HC alumni of tomorrow to take ownership of their college today and create memories to become future HC traditions.
