Hastings College PHIVE-O to present awareness events
The Hastings College PHIVE-O (Peer HIV Education Organization) group will present a number of awareness events Nov. 29-Dec. 3, in honor of World AIDS Day. All events are free and open to the public. This is the 19th year the college has observed the day.
November 29 and 30, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Hazelrigg Student Center, educational booths with signups for HIV antibody testing, "Facing AIDS" photo project
Wed, Dec. 1, 10 a.m.
Special HIV/AIDS chapel service, French Memorial Chapel
Rev. Bill Nottage-Tacey, speaker, special piano music by Jon Sokasits
Wed, Dec. 1, 12 noon, Hazelrigg Room C, theatrical presentation by Sunny D's REACHOUT. Daly's Deli lunch will be served, free t-shirts to first 100 attendees
Wed, Dec 1, 7 p.m.
Candlelight vigil, HC Chapel
Special music and readings. Cinnamon rolls and Barista's drinks will be served.

Free anonymous HIV antibody testing for HC students
