Hastings College Reports Highest Enrollment in the History of the College
Hastings College has one more thing to celebrate this Homecoming/Family Weekend – the highest total enrollment in the history of the college. Fall semester enrollment figures for Hastings College were announced on October 1.
The official figure of 1,212 represents all full-time and part-time undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in classes during the fall semester.
“I am delighted to begin this fall term with the largest enrollment in the history of the College,” Hastings College President Dr. Phillip Dudley said. “We take great pride in providing students a great academic and social experience.”
Hastings College students represent 26 states and eight different countries. Around sixty-eight percent of Hastings College students are from Nebraska and twenty-one percent are from Colorado.
Hastings College, founded in 1882, is a private, four-year liberal arts institution affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA). A total of 64 majors in 32 areas of study and 12 pre-professional programs are offered to more than 1,200 students. Hastings College was named among “America’s Best National Liberal Arts Colleges” by U.S. News & World Report, a “Best in the Midwest” by The Princeton Review, and a “Best Buy in College Education” by Barron’s.
