Hastings College Head Volleyball Coach Resigns
Hastings College Athletic Director Ian Roberts has announced that Women’s Volleyball Head Coach Ron Alexander has resigned from his position at Hastings College to become athletic director at Front Range Christian School in Littleton, Colo.
“My time at Hastings College has been rewarding, and it was a difficult decision to leave at this time,” Alexander said. “I cannot express my gratitude to Hastings College enough for the experience that I enjoyed while here. The volleyball athletes are like my family, and I will miss them dearly.”
Alexander was appointed head coach at Hastings College in 2008. Prior to Hastings College, he coached volleyball at the University of Northern Colorado from 2002-2005 and was the head coach at Fort Morgan High School in Fort Morgan, Colo., from 1988-2000.
A search for Alexander’s replacement is currently under way. HC Volleyball has a strong tradition of excellence, and college officials are confident the program will attract an excellent coach.
