Jan. 14 - Hastings College holds prayer vigil for victims of Haiti quake

Hastings College will hold a Haiti Prayer Vigil at 7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 14 in Seaton Chapel, located at the rear of French Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Dr. Lee Wigert will lead the service.

“We are hoping to raise consciousness and awareness of this tragic event,” Wigert said. Dr. Wigert is a professor of psychology and chair of the department at Hastings College.

Hastings College, founded in 1882, is a private, four-year liberal arts institution affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA). A total of 64 majors in 32 areas of study and 12 pre-professional programs are offered to more than 1,150 students.
