Nov. 20 - Hastings College December Events

Hastings College Presents: A Christmas Card to the Community
Performances of the Christmas opera “Amahl and the Night Visitors” are at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 4 and at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 5 at the Masonic Center.

Tickets can be purchased at the following Hastings locations: Five Points Bank, Heritage Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, Hastings State Bank, Good Samaritan Society, Stamps & More, Hastings College Department of Music and the Masonic Center. Tickets are also available at the Heritage Bank in Grand Island.


Band Concert
The Hastings College Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble will present “Winter Winds” at 3 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 6 at the Masonic Center. The program will feature classic Christmas tunes and more. No admission is required.


Bronco Bookstore Holiday Open House
The Bronco Bookstore will have a Holiday Open House, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 4. All regularly priced clothing and hats will be 25 percent off. Clearance racks will be an additional 20 percent off the marked sale price. What a great time to start your holiday shopping! Refreshments will be served. The bookstore is located in Hazelrigg Student Union.


Lighting of Campus Celebration
The annual campus lighting ceremony will take place at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 1 at French Memorial Chapel. Hear holiday stories and music and enjoy holiday refreshments. Watch the lights come on in Circle Drive. Santa will be there too!
