Book of Days, is a tornado of a play by Lanford Wilson that propels the audience through its events like a page-turning mystery. When a murder roars through a small Missouri town, Ruth Hoch begins her own quest to find truth amid small town jealousies, religion, greed and lies. Written by one of America’s greatest and prolific playwrights, Wilson layers language and events to create an evening of theatre that is an intriguing, prismatic and thoroughly engrossing depiction of contemporary small-town life.
