Oct. 30, 2008 - Hastings College students to perform in Sunday recital
Hastings College students Emilie Powers and Benjiman Pettiford will perform in a piano recital, Sunday, Nov. 2, at 3 p.m., in Perkins Auditorium, Fuhr Hall of Music.
The recital is free and open to the public.
Powers will play pieces by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin and Liszt. Pettiford will perform works by Scarlatti, Debussy, Mendelssohn and Debussy.
Powers, a senior, is the daughter of Philip and Mary Powers, Columbus, Neb.
Pettiford, a senior, is the son of Ann Pettiford, Lincoln, Neb.
