The Hastings College Alliance organization is sponsoring an ally training session, Thursday, Oct. 16, at 7:30 p.m., in Hazelrigg Student Union,
Room B.
 
The public is welcome to attend.

The Alliance promotes and educates about safety, dignity, respect, and acceptance for students of all sexual orientation, gender identities, and gender expressions.

The presentation will offer important ideas and definitions and hands-on advice for all those who wonder
• how they can more effectively support and stand up for those around them that are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, or question their sexual orientation or their gender identity (“GLBTQ,” for short),
• how to model and teach tolerance and acceptance, and
• how to create a more accepting and welcoming climate for all people in the world around us.
