Oct. 9, 2008 - Hastings College Art Department to host alumni panel

The Hastings College Art Department will host an alumni panel, Thursday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m., in Wilson Center Auditorium. The panel will address: “Where Do The Art Majors Go? – 4 Art Majors/4 Careers.”
The event is free and open to the public.
Panelists include: Jerry Daniels ’63, retired vice-president for the Dutton-Lainson Company and independent artist; Hal Haloun ’61, independent artist; Angela Graham ’93, owner of Graham Gallery; and Chandra Glaeseman ’99, a 2008 MFA graduate from the Rhode Island School of Design and adjunct professor at Hastings College and the University of Nebraska-Kearney.
Daniels, Glaeseman and Holoun have their works on display at the Hastings College Art Gallery during the month of October. An artists’ reception will be held Saturday, Oct. 18, from 4 to 5 p.m., in conjunction with Homecoming activities.
