April 7, 2006 - Hastings College senior Ann Goding receives scholarship
Hastings College senior Ann Goding, Oxford, Neb., was awarded a scholarship through the Alpha Chi National College Honor Scholarship Society. Goding received an H.Y. Benedict Fellowship worth $2,500 and will pursue a master’s degree at Emory University, Rollins School of Public Health, in the fall. A biology major, Goding is the daughter of Timothy and Jane Goding, and was one of only nine students nationwide who received the award.

Alpha Chi is a national academic honor society. Juniors and seniors in the top 10 percent of their class are eligible for membership. Hastings College is Nebraska’s Alpha Chapter.
