It is Willabella Witch's 400th birthday, and she's retiring from the witch business and vows no more spells. She's dying her hair, losing her witch wardrobe, and changing her diet, too. Her retirement plans are interrupted when Hansel and Gretel, Rapunzel, Snow White, the Frog Prince, Sleeping Beauty, and others show up with demands! No wonder she wants to retire! Somehow the beleaguered Willabella straightens them all out and sets out on her new lifestyle with her pet crow. This whimsical farce is enjoyable for adults and children.
Director of the play is junior John Sherlock, son of Larry and Shelly Sherlock, Murray, Neb. He also designed the set and costumes. Jessica Brock, junior, daughter of Craig and Bonnie Brock of Bertrand, Neb., is assistant director; and junior Katy Steurer daughter of Robert Steurer and Colleen Stanfill of Boone, Colo., is stage manager.
