October 25, 2005 - Hastings College student wins competition
Hastings College senior Andrew DeBoer won the woodwind category at the Nebraska Music Teachers Association (MTNA) competition held at the Strauss Performing Arts Center, University of Nebraska-Omaha, Omaha, Neb., Saturday, Oct. 22. He will compete in regional competition in Lincoln, Neb., Jan. 13-14, 2006.

Hastings College senior Andrew DeBoer won the woodwind category at the Nebraska Music Teachers Association (MTNA) competition held at the Strauss Performing Arts Center, University of Nebraska-Omaha, Omaha, Neb., Saturday, Oct. 22. He will compete in regional competition in Lincoln, Neb., Jan. 13-14, 2006.
DeBoer, a clarinetist, is the son of Steven and Sylvia DeBoer of Hastings, Neb.
