Hastings College is one of the nation's best value undergraduate institutions according to The Princeton Review.  The New York-based education services company featured the school in the 2008 edition of America's Best Value Colleges.

Hastings College was the only Nebraska school selected.

The guide profiles 165 colleges chosen for their excellent academics, generous financial aid packages, and/or relatively low cost of attendance.  In the three-page profile on Hastings College, The Princeton Review's editors noted results from a recent Noel-Levitz Student Satisfaction Inventory which found students to be extremely satisfied with their experiences with  teaching, advising, course content, and the overall value for their money.

The Princeton Review selected schools based on data obtained from administrators at more than 650 colleges during the 2005-06 academic year and from student surveys. Thirty factors were used to identify 'best value' colleges including: academics, tuition, GPA, financial aid, and student borrowing. 

The 90 public and 75 private colleges selected offer excellent education, and have impressive records of meeting students' needs for financial aid.

 Hastings College, founded in 1882, is a private, four-year liberal arts institution affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA). A total of 64 majors in 32 areas of study and 12 pre-professional programs are offered to 1,143 students. The college was cited among top liberal arts colleges, national bachelor’s category, in U.S. News and World Report, America’s Best Colleges 2007, and was listed as a Best Midwestern College by The Princeton Review.
