The Hastings College Media Department will provide official coverage of the 2007 NAIA Women’s Division II National Basketball Championship in Sioux City, Iowa, Wednesday, March 7 through Tuesday, March 13, at the Tyson Events Center/Gateway Arena.
 

Thirteen Hastings College media students will be responsible for recording 30 games during the tournament, providing a close circuit live feed to televisions in the Tyson Events Center, and also will provide a feed to XOS Technology for a live web stream.
 During the tournament, coverage of Hastings College games will also be available on HCworldnews.com and HCTV, Channel 6, (Charter Communications in Hastings, Neb.)  
 

The Hastings College Broncos (#2 seed) will face Eastern Oregon (#7 seed) Wednesday, March 7, at 4 p.m.
 

Faculty sponsors in the media department are Chad Power, instructor of communication arts; Brett Erickson, assistant professor of communication arts; and Sharon Brooks, associate professor of communication arts and English.
