August 28, 2006 - Hastings College professor Laegreid has book published
Dr. Renee Laegreid, Hastings College assistant professor of history, will be signing copies of her recently completed book, Riding Pretty: Rodeo Royalty in the American West, at a book launch Saturday, Sept. 2, at 10 a.m., at the Blue Moon Café, 635 W. 2nd St., Hastings, Neb. The event is hosted by the Blue Moon Café and Prairie Books and Gifts. The public is invited to attend. Laegreid’s book was published by the University of Nebraska Press.

Laegreid joined the Hastings College faculty in 2003. She completed a bachelor of arts degree at Washington State University, a master’s degree at Wesleyan University and a doctoral degree at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
