April 18, 2008 - Hastings College PHIVE-O to host taco soup lunch
The Hastings College PHIVE-O (Peer HIV Education Organization) will host a taco soup luncheon, Wednesday, April 23, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the college’s Stone Health Center located at 843 N. Turner Ave.
The public is welcome to attend.
A free will offering will be collected, with proceeds going to support the Peace Corps HIV/AIDS prevention programs in Ghana, West Africa. Alex Peterson, a native of Hastings, Neb., is in charge of the programs.
The PHIVE-O organization helps to provide accurate information about, and the prevention of, HIV/AIDS to the campus community and to the larger community including Adams County.
