March 14, 2008 - Hastings College senior named Summer Fellow
Hastings College senior Stephen Turney, Loveland, Colo., has been selected as an International Radio & Television Society (IRTS) 2008 Summer Fellow.
Chosen from a nationwide pool of applicants, Turney will spend nine weeks (all expenses paid) in New York City, N.Y., working with professionals in the electronic media industry. The fellowship will include practical experience and career-planning advice in the areas of broadcasting, cable, advertising and new media.
Turney, son of Keith and Elizabeth Turney, is the fifth Hastings College student to be named an IRTS Summer Fellow.
