Feb. 6, - Dr. Marc LaChance to perform in Hastings College faculty recital

Dr. Marc LaChance, Hastings College associate professor of music, will perform in a faculty recital Tuesday, Feb. 12, at 7:30 p.m., in Perkins Auditorium, Fuhr Hall of Music. The recital is free and open to the public.
LaChance, who will perform on the trombone, will be assisted by several members of the Hastings College faculty including: Cynthia Murphy, instructor of music, piano; Dr. Jonathan Sokasits, professor of music, piano; Dr. Debra McKim, professor of music, tenor saxophone; and Dr. Byron Jensen, professor of music, doublebass.
Works to be performed are: Handel’s Trio Sonata No. 5 in G major, Peaslee’s Arrows of Time, Crespo’s Improvisation No. 1, Wilson’s Paradox, Woolfenden’s Henry Humbleton’s Holiday (Karen Shefsiek, narrator), and Ungar’s Ashokan Farewell.
