Please announce the following Hastings College events in your Calendar of Events. All events are free unless otherwise noted. Hastings College is located at 710 N. Turner Ave.


Art
Jan. 7 – 24, the Art Gallery will feature works by master of fine art students, California
 College of Art.
2 – 3 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 13, artists’ reception, Art Gallery.


 Gallery hours:  10 a.m. – 5 p.m., weekdays; 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Saturday; and
2 – 4 p.m., Sunday.


Martin Luther King, Jr., Day events
7:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 14, Martin Luther King Day Eve, chapel service, Rev. Everett
 Reynolds, past president of the Nebraska chapter of NAACP and a founder of the
 Lead Safe Omaha Coalition, French Memorial Chapel.


10:45 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 15, Martin Luther King Day, Linda Crump, chair of the
 Nebraska State Bar Association, French Memorial Chapel.


1 – 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 15, students will participate in community-based service
 Projects.


Observatory open house
7:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 12 and 26, sky viewing at Sachtleben Observatory, 4725 S.
