Dec. 3, 2007 - Hastings College forensics results

The Hastings College forensics team competed in the “Outer Limits Swing,” Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 1 and 2. The tournament, held in Kearney, Neb., was co-hosted by the University of Nebraska at Kearney and Concordia University.


Saturday, Dec. 1 –
Jordan Palmer, senior, 1st place, prose (qualified for nationals); Todd/April Palmer,
Omaha, Neb.
Melanie Hiatt, senior, 3rd place, prose, Michael/Lisa Hiatt, Harvard, Neb.
Aaron Blackman, junior, 5th place, duo; 1st place, informative speaking (qualified for
 nationals); Susan Blackman/Raymond Blackman, Valparaiso, Neb.
Barrett Graham, junior, 5th place, duo, Tim/Terri Graham, Trumbull, Neb.
Carrie Moore, junior, 5th place, informative speaking; Lee/Carolyn Petersen,
Valentine, Neb.
Sara Ninabuck, junior, 5th place, persuasion speaking; 3rd place, communication analysis  (qualified for nationals in both events); Barbara Ninabuck, Edgar, Neb.
Paul Martin, sophomore, 4th place, impromptu speaking; Philip/Ann Martin,
