Dr. Frankie Wood-Black will present “Just Where Does Gasoline Come From” at Hastings College, Monday, Nov. 5, at 7 p.m., in Hazelrigg Student Union, Rooms A and B.
Wood-Black’s visit is part of the American Chemical Society’s National Speaker Tour.

The public is invited to attend.

 Wood-Black is director of Consent Decree Compliance at ConocoPhillips. Her focus is supporting refinery compliance with the benzene, hazardous air pollutant, and lead detection and repair regulations. She also supports compliance with the Toxic Substance Control Act.

 Wood-Black serves as the ConocoPhillips representative for Corporation Associates of the American Chemical Society and is a contributing editor of the Journal for Chemical Health and Safety.  She completed a doctoral degree in physics at Oklahoma State University.
