Oct. 26, 2007 - Hastings College students to trick or treat for charity
Hastings College PHIVE-O (Peer HIV Education Organization) and other college groups will be trick-or-treating in the Hastings community, Wednesday, Oct. 31, beginning at 6:30 p.m., to help restock the Nebraska AIDS Project food pantry.
As part of “Trick or Treat for NAP,” students will go door-to-door collecting nonperishable items, new toiletries and paper goods, for the central Nebraska NAP pantry in Kearney. Central Nebraska NAP serves HIV-positive clients and those living with AIDS in a 31-county area, including the city of Hastings.
Students will be carrying a letter of identification from the Nebraska AIDS Project.
