Oct. 10, 2007 - Beth Teller Horn and Terry Wollman to perform at Hastings College
Jazz flutist Beth Teller Horn and guitarist Terry Wollman will perform at Hastings College, Friday, Oct. 19, at 7:30 p.m., in Perkins Auditorium, Fuhr Hall of Music.
The performance is free and the public is invited to attend.
Friday, at 1:30 p.m., Horn and Wollman will present a workshop, “How to Collaborate in Music, How to Collaborate in Life,” to Hastings fourth graders. The workshop will also take place in Perkins Auditorium.
Teller Horn is a graduate of Hastings High School and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Primarily trained as a classical flutist, Teller Horn’s playing has evolved to a variety of styles including jazz. She also plays the saxophone.
Teller Horn is the daughter Fred and Lorraine Teller of Hastings.
Wollman is a musical director, performer, and actor. He is the main music writer for the show “Scrubs,” and has written music for other television shows. Wollman toured with saxophonist Mindi Abair, and has worked with a variety of artists including Gladys Knight, Little Richard, Joe Walsh, Michael McDonald, and Wilson Phillips.
