Pursue Your Passion

Business Administration Major

Katherine Hamilton

Katherine Hamilton, Class of 2010

Public Relations and Human Resource Specialist for Hastings (NE) Public Schools

“Hastings College provided me with a solid foundation that has proved invaluable in my professional career. Simply put, I would not be where I am today if it were not for the classes I took, people I met, and the opportunities I had while at HC. I majored in Business Administration with a Minor in Advertising & Public Relations. One of the beauties of studying at HC is that you can take classes you are interested in and not only the ones that are required. I was able to ‘pursue my passion’ to the fullest at Hastings College.”

Andrew Meitzen

Andrew Meitzen, Class of 2009

Business and Economics Major Associate National Bank Examiner at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency of the United States Treasury Department

“My Hastings College Business and Economics majors provided me with essential skills to not only achieve success in the classroom, but to obtain employment within a competitive industry. The curriculum and instruction developed by the department faculty promotes independent thought, critical reasoning and analytical tools to continue to improve and grow as a student and in a professional capacity. The professors take pride in their work and in turn take pride in their students. Professors work diligently with students to ensure their experience is fulfilling and successful.
I have my experience majoring in both Economics and Business to thank for a great college career and for excelling in my current position with the U.S. Treasury Department in Newport Beach, CA.”

“Ninety percent of our students have successful job placements within three months of graduation”

Business and Economics Professor Roger Doerr
