Welcome to the Physical Education Department
The mission of the department of physical education is two-fold. First the department strives to provide the knowledge and experience base necessary for students to be successful in directing life long experiences in teaching, coaching, recreation and leisure opportunities, athletic training or other health promotion professions. Secondly, the department strives to provide opportunities for all students to develop an appreciation of physical fitness and participation in physical activity as it contributes to one's quality of life.
