The Mission

The mission of the Office of Student Leadership Development at Hastings College is to engage students in experiential leadership education, develop their leadership competencies, and empower them to identify, understand, and utilize their leadership capabilities. The office integrates the components of community service, involvement in clubs and organizations, outdoor education, and leadership seminars. Student Leadership supports the academic experience by providing programs and opportunities to enhance student leadership development, and promote shared responsibility within the Hastings College community.

Whatever your level of prior training, Student Leadership is available to help you enhance your leadership competencies.

At Hastings College, we believe that every student can be a leader. Student Leadership engages students of all aspects of leadership that is applied to their daily life at Hastings College. The Office of Student Leadership will help all students become more engaged at Hastings College.
