Each spring, Hastings College hosts the western expansion of a long-running statewide festival emphasizing close harmony and a cappella singing. The annual event brings nationally recognized clinicians and award-winning ensembles to the Hastings College Campus to work with high school and college singers in rehearsals and performance. The Youth in Harmony Festival is a joint venture of the HC Department of Music and local chapters of the International Barbershop Organization SPEBSQSA.
