Hastings College Jazz Festival

The Hastings College Jazz Festival began in the early 1970’s and continues today as an important educational and musical event in Nebraska. The Festival has brought great artists from around the country on campus each year, such as: Clark Terry, Marian McPartland, Dominic Spera, Buddy Baker, Rich Matteson, Joey and Tony Gulizia, Pat Harbison, and the Doug Talley Quartet.
Each year middle school and high school bands from around Nebraska perform at the Festival and are adjudicated by exceptional jazz educators.
