We understand your experience as a transfer student is very different from that of an incoming freshman. Therefore, Hastings College Admissions staff are here to help you find your way through this college experience and to familiarize to your new surroundings.

Take the first step: apply! You'll need the following:
- Application form
- School transcripts (high school and college)
- ACT/SAT scores or Compass scores
SCHOLARSHIPS & FINANCIAL AID
You're probably wondering what scholarships and financial aid are available to you as a transfer student at Hastings College. Explore what you might be eligible to receive:
- Transfer students from a 4 year or 2 year institution
- Community College graduates
- Adult Learners 22 years or older
HOUSING
Housing is an important part to the college experience. As a transfer student, we offer several different options for you.
Transfer student (Freshman – Junior Status, includes age/number of credits)
As a freshman or sophomore, you will be required to live on campus in a dorm room. If you have junior status, you will be required to live on campus in one of the apartments.
If you transfer with senior status, you have the option to live off-campus or live in the apartments.
Transfer student with an Associate of Art degree or Associate of Science degree
If you have graduated from a community college with a transfer degree, you have the option to live on-campus or commute.
Transfer student with a 22+ Adult Learner Status
Student who receive the 22+ Grant are not allow to live on campus.
