Q: "What choral ensembles are available at HC?"

Ross: "We've got singing groups to meet just about everyone's interests and time commitment. Our premier mixed-voice ensemble is The Hastings College Choir. In addition, singers from all over campus participate in our 'varsity glee clubs'—HC Singers (for treble voices) and Men's Choir. From the membership of the College Choir, selected singers form one or more small vocal groups under the umbrella title Entertainment Arts Ensembles.

All the HC choirs combine with local and alumni singers to form the College-Community Choral Union, an ensemble that has been singing masterworks with the Hastings Symphony Orchestra since the 1800s! Finally, HC students also sing as members of our national music fraternities, Sigma Alpha Iota for women, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia for men." Discover more.
