Since its construction a decade ago, the stadium at the Osborne Family Sports Complex has become one of the top sports venues in Central Nebraska. In addition to serving as home site for Hastings College football and men’s and women’s soccer, the stadium is home for the Hastings High School Tigers, Nebraska Shrine Soccer Classic, and Sertoma 8-Man All-Star Game, among other popular community events.

The FieldTurf covering the stadium’s Lloyd Wilson Field has an eight-year warranty and an expected lifespan of eight to ten years. The field is now entering its 11th year and must be replaced at a cost of approximately $460,000.

Click here to watch the LIVE webcam as the FieldTurf is installed at Lloyd Wilson Field.

The Hastings College Foundation is asking alumni and friends to help meet this challenge. Your gift of $100 will name one square yard of the new FieldTurf in your honor, and you will receive a special naming certificate describing your piece of the field. Gifts of $1,000 or more will be recognized on a donor wall at the stadium. Click here for details.

For more information on the FieldTurf Project, please contact Mike Karloff, Vice President for Planned and Major Gifts at the Hastings College Foundation, (800) 775-2585.  Thank you so much for your consideration and for your commitment to Hastings College Athletics.
