Every year, a group of student callers takes on the task of calling all Hastings College alumni. The three main reasons for their call are to:

		1.	Ensure we have your correct contact information so when alumni publications and special event announcements are mailed, you receive them. In addition, the Alumni Association frequently gets calls from alumni wanting to reconnect with an old roommate or searching for addresses to mail wedding invitations. Keeping your contact information current helps to make sure you will not be left out.
		2.	Ask for your annual support. Annual support is critical to the continued success of Hastings College. The Foundation has found that its phonathon is the most efficient tool it has in recruiting alumni support.
		3.	Allow you to reconnect with the college. Phonathon callers are students with varying majors and backgrounds from different grade levels. The Alumni Association hopes you enjoy the opportunity to talk with these students about your HC experience or about current campus happenings. The phonathon students are calling you direct from campus and they will be happy to answer your questions.

Each year, prior to the start of the annual phonathon campaign, the Foundation sends out an announcement letting you know that you can expect a call soon. If you would like to avoid the interruption, know you’ll be away from home, or would like to save HC the cost of the call, simply return the pledge form that accompanies the announcement or make your gift online.
