Hastings College’s beautiful 109-acre campus makes a dramatic first impression on prospective students, provides an exceptional living and learning environment for current students, and serves as an emotional touchstone for alumni across the decades.

As chair of the Board’s Buildings and Grounds Committee for several years, Bobby Gottsch was proud of the Hastings College campus and spoke often and passionately about the need for the College to secure funds for building maintenance, improvements, and repair.

Hastings College needs a minimum of $400,000 annually for deferred maintenance. Given the economic recession and other factors, average annual funding over the past seven years has been approximately $100,000, below what is necessary for maintenance of the College’s 36 academic and administrative buildings and residence halls.

Your gifts to the Difference Makers Campaign will provide a permanent endowment allowing Hastings College to address critical deferred maintenance issues, improve our learning environment, and enhance what many consider to be the most picturesque college campus on the Great Plains.
