Hastings College Career Services, in partnership with eight other college and university members of the Nebraska College Recruiting Consortium, has an online job search tool for students and alumni. The JobZone provides an online delivery system for job vacancies, recruiting interviews, and resume/cover letter critiques. To access the JobZone, click here.
To view vacancies advertised through the JobZone, alumni must complete a brief registration process. Once approved by Career Services, alumni are able to view job opportunities that employers are advertising specifically to member colleges. While many of the vacancies in the NCRC JobZone are early career positions a second tool within the system, the NACE Extended Job Search, provides easy access to vacancies suitable for experienced alumni using JobCentral, SimplyHired, Google, and Indeed. By inclusion in the software, these public search sites receive the endorsement of NACE (National Association of Colleges and Employers).
To register as a job seeker, click here. When you initiate registration and confirm your email address, Career Services will contact you by email to provide direct assistance with use of the JobZone. This opens the door to more purposeful communication and guidance for your job search.
