| James and Dorothy (Ralston) Batt have moved to Madison, Wis. Dorothy was pleased to find that a fellow resident of Oakwood Village is her previous Geneva High School algebra teacher, Richard Uphoff, who is now in his 90s. Jim had major surgery in the spring, but has recovered nicely. Dorothy conveys greetings to her Mary Lanning Hospital friends. (Submitted 8/25/12) | |
| Helen and E. Dennis Bolen live in Fountain Valley, Calif. Dennis is a retired manager from McDonnell Douglas. Denny has discovered that writing a book is only 10 percent of the work. The other 90 percent is promotion. He has established a website and blog; and a radio podcast has also been converted to a video. | Jean (Rockwell) and Robert Weidner live in Charleston, Ill. They recently celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. They have two children, Robert and Diane, and two grandchildren, Otis (3) and Lewis, born October 6, 2011. (Submitted 8/28/12) | |
