Donate and Recycle Your Clothing, Furniture and Food
Crossroads Center (a block behind Burlington Express on 14th Street) will take donations of clothing, furniture and unopened, non-perishable food at the front desk, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Furniture for Crossroads may also be left on a trailer in the Bronc parking lot. The Goodwill Store will also take donations of clothing and furniture (2416 W. 2nd Street, near the Hastings water park). Every year when college students move out of their campus housing, they throw away thousands of dollars in useable food, clothing and furniture which could be used by others. Don't throw it away! Donate and recycle. You will be glad you did.
Local Storage Units
There is no on-campus storage of belongings for the summer, but Evonne Borrell has a list of local storage units for rent. Just send Evonne an e-mail and she will send you a list of units — eborrell@hastings.edu.
