Hastings College was an early pioneer in the idea that well-qualified students could combine course offerings from various academic disciplines in new and innovative ways to create programs of study not otherwise formalized in the college catalog.

Now a well-proven success, the Personalized Program offers Hastings College students the opportunity to design, propose, and realize an individualized degree program centered around an aspect of Music study not offered in a traditional HC degree program. Recent successful options combining the BA in Music and the Personalized Program have included: Music Business, Music Technology, Arts Management, Music Theatre, and Music Therapy.
