Through the on-going generosity of our alumni donors and friends of music, every student is eligible to apply and audition for financial aid in return for regular participation in the Hastings College choral program!

Both music majors and non-majors are selected for the honor based on a live audition, a demonstration of musical potential, a proven record of exploration and participation in your high school music programs, and a willing enthusiasm for music.

As a Music Scholarship winner, you'll be expected to participate in the ensembles and programs of the Music Department, and of course you should be willing to play an active role in the department in a variety of ways. Following a pre-enrollment audition, specific awards are made by the college Financial Aid committee on an individual and personalized basis with the recommendation of the the faculty of music.
