Membership in our treble 'varsity glee club' ranges from forty to more than fifty women each semester. As an HC Singer you'll join female students (including those who are awarded HC music scholarships), faculty members, and community singers in twice-weekly rehearsals (Tuesdays and Thursdays during the noon-hour). You need not be a music major to join, and membership is open without audition; simply consult with your faculty advisor to register for the course labelled MU260C.01.Our major emphasis is on "beautiful songs beautifully sung," but from semester to semester we perform a broad repertoire including show tunes, popluar music, and sacred and secular traditional choral music. Our 'singer-centered' rehearsals lead to performances on and off campus each semester.
